渭 水 自 萦 秦 塞 曲
黄 山 旧 绕 汉 宫 斜。
銮 舆 迴 出 仙 门 柳
阁 道 回 看 上 苑 花。
云 里 帝 城 双 凤 阙
雨 中 春 树 万 人 家。
为 乘 阳 气 行 时 令
不 是 宸 游 重 物 华。

A Qin strategic stronghold where the Wei River naturally winds around a river bend
Ancient Huangli Mountains coil about a sloped Han palace.
Imperial carriage bells tinkling while circling back from the Penglai gate willow trees
On the pavilion skywalk, turn around to see the palace’s enclosed flower garden.
So many clouds inside the emperor’s city, only see two phoenix watchtower gates
Rain on the spring trees and thousands of houses.
Take advantage of the sunnier weather, good time to travel out
It is not palace travel with the opulence that I think important.

Penglai and Xing Qing: Scenic areas within the palace walls.
Qin: The state of Qin encompassing Shaanxi and Gansu provinces.
Enclosed flower garden: Literally means an enclosed ground for growing trees, and figuratively as a center for creating and appreciating art and literature.
