Shi bi jing she gao
Pai yun liao zhi shang.
Jia you qie de yuan
Wang xian dei qian shang.
Ya qing jing fang hui
Gu zhuan chuan ru zhang.
Lu lin han xiao tiao
Fei ge qi hong chang.
Dao ren shang fang zhi
Shen ye huan du wang.
Ri luo qun shan yin
Tian qiu bai quan xiang.
Suo jie lei yi cheng

Lan Mountain Range Temple
Temple built into tall stone cliffs
Directly above a row of clouds.
Beautiful trip satisfies my original desires
Forget the dangers, enjoyment and rewards to follow.
Slanted crags and deep overhang views
Valley turns, rivers like the palm of your hand.
Green forests contain spent trees and bushes
Winged pavilion perched for expansive vistas.
Dao practitioner’s bedrooms very high
Alone in the deep night, do not want to go back.
At sunset all of the mountains were in shade
Autumn days, a hundred spring waters echo.
Sigh, I am still in a place where I have to toil away
I could spend a long time here in peace, lying on my back and just looking up.

Lan mountain range: Parallel to the Yellow River on the border of Inner Mongolia and Ningxia provinces.
Winged pavilion: An architectural style where the roof and eaves are curved upward at the building’s corners.
