杯 酒 英 雄 君 与 操
文 章 微 婉 我 知 丘。
贤 豪 虽 殁 精 灵 在
应 共 微 之 地 下 游。

Si hai qi ming bai yu liu
Bai nian jiao fen liang chou mou.
Tong pin tong bing tui xian ri
Yi si yi sheng lin lao tou.
Bei jiu ying xiong jun yu cao
Wen zhang wei wan wo zhi qiu.
Xian hao sui mo jing ling zai
Ying gong wei zhi di xia you.

Our whole world in unison, give praise to Liu Yuxi
All our lives we knew each other as the two sentimentally attached.
Shared poverty, shared illness, retired now to days of leisure
One death, one life, we both have white hair.
Like Three Kingdom heroes, we share cups of wine to praise virtuous conduct
With tact and subtle implied meanings our poems understood by each other.
Virtuous people still die, their spirit and essence remains
You should share with Wei Zhi the earth and transcendent travels.
